Home School Agreement
At John Burns Primary School, we believe that having a successful partnership between the school, the parents and the pupils helps each pupil to take full advantage of all that the school has to offer.
We are determined to create an inclusive culture of learning where all children will be challenged in their thinking, to achieve to the best of their abilities and strive to become lifelong learners.
We have a duty to do our very best for the children at John Burns Primary School and parents and carers have a duty to support us as best as they can.
What is a Home School Agreement?
When children join John Burns Primary School, we ask parents and pupils to sign our Home School agreement.
This is a simple agreement between the school, pupil and parent which outlines effective ways in which we can agree to work together to foster and maintain respectful and pro-active relationships as your child moves through the school.
Please read the agreement carefully with your child, sign both copies, and return one of them to school.
